MOUNTAIN BIKING
- Lookout Mountain's Guild Trail: 5 miles from downtown; easy trail with gentle grades up the mountain
- Camp Jordan/Brainerd Levee: 10 miles from downtown; easy 5.5 mile trail along South Chickamauga Creek
- Harrison Bay State Park: 12 miles from downtown; easy 4.5-mile single-track loop suitable for beginners and family
- TVA Raccoon Mountain: 9 miles from downtown; 16 miles of trails, beginner to expert
RECREATIONAL and ROAD CYCLING
- The Tennessee Riverpark; 13 continuous miles along the Tennessee River, all paved and landscaped, scattered with parks, green spaces and attractions starts downtown and runs to Chickamauga Dam (includes the Walnut Street Bridge), suitable for anyone. For maps and trail information, click here.
- Downtown Bicycle Paths; 25 miles of designated bike paths through downtown Chattanooga, the North Shore, and St. Elmo. Ride the Incline to the top of Lookout Mountain and ride some more.
